SAVANNAH, Ga. - The Savannah College of Art and Design athletics department raised $530 at a car wash Saturday (Feb. 6) afternoon to support the relief efforts in Haiti.

All proceeds from the car wash, which was held at the Ex Libris Bookstore, will go to the SCAD Emergency Relief Fund. This fund will assist SCAD students, faculty, staff and alumni with Haitian ties or relations as they deal with the 7.0 magnitude earthquake that struck Haiti Jan. 12.

The department would like to thank all the faculty, staff and students that show up to get their car washed and made donations.
